I like to share how and why I’m creating things, and which tools (apps, services, devices) I’m using. That’s what this page is all about. If you want a complete and detailed view of what I use every day, head to my Complete Content Creator Toolset page. Eventually, this page might be folded into this website.

Colophon definition: “A colophon is a short section on a website that shares details about how the site was made. It often includes information like the tools, technologies, typefaces, or design choices used to build the site. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes note for curious visitors.”

For a while, I always saw myself as a content creator. But the word “content” is not exactly the focus I want to put the spotlight on. I now refer to myself as a compulsive contributor. I prefer this because it reflects my focus on putting something out there and contributing, honestly, to the best of my abilities.

🌐 This website was built using Realmac Software Elements on a M2 MacBook Air with love ❤️ and hard labor 👨🏻‍💻. I shared this blog post about the project on my meta blog and mentioned it a few times in my newsletter. The design of this website will evolve as I continue to learn Elements capabilities. Come back from time to time to get updated content.

⚙️ This website is hosted on Cloudflare as a Cloudflare Page that is linked my GitHub account as a private repo hosting the published website files. Publishing is done from within Elements to my local repository then pushed to my GitHub repo using a GitHub Desktop app on my Mac. From there, Cloudflare Page is sucked in and deployed. This setup is going to move to Chillidog Hosting when Elements adds support for CMS. Stay tuned.

🤖 Some generative AI was used to improve writing or learn how to tweak CSS. I don’t use AI to create content from scratch. Here are my rules for using AI.

🔆 I’m currently looking to improve the following on this website: PageSpeed Insights and GTMatrix indicators Improve my website publishing workflow Redo the design of the website thumbnails in the "Find Me” page ⋅ Migrate site news to an integrated CMS ⋅ Reduce carbon emission footprint.
