These are the projects I am currently working on or planning for the coming months. Each project requires ongoing effort. My main goal is to enhance my digital tools or workflows. Follow my blog for updates on these projects.

1️⃣ Fine tune my reading workflow — Nearly Complete ▶️

Why? My reading workflow is always in flux, thanks in part by the moving landscape of read later services and to my desire to reduce the number of services and subscriptions that I use. What? I decided against using ChatGPT Atlas browser and instead build a fully-featured bookmark manager that act as a read-later service. It’s been in production since February and it is working perfectly for my needs. Coupled with my other custom-built RSS reader, it’s the perfect combo and my reading workflow, in fact, revolves around those two. Challenges: Trying to keep costs down and the number of tools that I use to the core minimum.

2️⃣ Revamp my YouTube video production workflow — To Resume Soon? ⏸️

Why? I want to be more proficient and accelerate video editing process. What? At the center of this project is the plan to buy and learn to use the RODECaster video. It’s not cheap by any mean (but they recently added a little brother which costs much less), and I’m not sure the low number of videos created over a year warrants such expenditure. Beyond buying new hardware, I must revisit my supporting documents in Craft which includes adding Craft tags, updating video description, building a Craft collections. An alternative to this device is to use Screen Studio an app that is gaining in popularity. It is a challenger to Screenflow, an app that I already use. So far, I created a few videos with it and works perfectly well with Screenflow. Challenges: the device is more afordable yet it’s a lot of money with no guarantee to recoup my investment. Steep learning curve and additional expenses might me required lkike a compatible webcam. For the other tasks, I expect to have completed the process by early fall 2026.

3️⃣ Explorer OpenAI Codex as a cheaper alternative to Claude Code — Starting Soon ⏹️

Why? Claude Code pricing has increased five fold since March 2026 by consuming much more AI credits for the same tasks. I must find a viable and cheaper alternative, which is Codex. What? OpenAI is catching up with coding agents with Codex, an app available for the Mac. Challenges: I paid a full year for Claude AI starting January 1st, which means paying for two AI providers at the same time. To be honest, my Claude AI expense was well worth it; I created many web apps which I use every day. I also learned a lot while doing so. I could pay on a monthly basis for Codex and see how it goes. I don’t have that many challenges to tackle, to be frank.
